NEWS

A large-scale festival took place at the “Vokzalna” metro station, bringing together all institutions of higher, pre-higher, and vocational education in Dnipro.

The event was aimed at high school students and prospective applicants. Participating educational institutions presented their available academic programs, provided guidance on the specifics of studying, and outlined career prospects for future graduates. A key feature of the fair included thematic workshops and direct communication with professors and students.

DSUIA’s First Vice-Rector, Ihor Magdalyna, delivered a welcoming speech to attendees. He introduced the university and its advantages, and wished the youth success in making a well-considered and informed career choice. A musical performance was delivered by DSUIA’s brass band, entertaining guests of the festival.

Representatives of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs prepared a special exhibition space for visitors. Experts and lecturers at the information stand offered consultations and answered questions about entrance exams, application deadlines and requirements, admission quotas, and the specifics of this year’s enrollment process. Members of the university’s student and cadet self-governance shared details about the educational process as well as DSUIA’s athletic, creative, and scientific life.

Prospective applicants were introduced to the structure of DSUIA and received explanations about the differences between cadet and student specialties. To help visitors gain deeper insight into the law enforcement profession, several themed activities were offered.

All guests had the opportunity to examine the contents of a forensic case kit and then personally participate in a fingerprinting procedure. Young visitors were shown examples of law enforcement equipment and firearms and were also invited to attend practical workshops conducted by cadets.

The “Dnipro Education City” job fair is an annual event held with the support of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council. According to the DSUIA administration, the university’s participation in such an event is an effective way to attract the attention of young people, showcase the institution’s strengths, and provide applicants with guidance on the learning process and admissions campaign.
