Together Toward Victory: DSUIA Cadets Continue Supporting the Military

NEWS

Every week, cadets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs sew pillows, mattresses, and camouflage nets for the frontline.

The work takes place at several volunteer centers, including “PavuChary” and “Vuzlyk Dopomohy.” In the workshops, cadets sort fabric, cut strips, and prepare patterns for the items. Some weave new batches of nets, while others sew pillows and mattresses for military hospitals.

“The work is meticulous, requiring patience, focus, and strong teamwork. We see it as our duty to provide consistent support to the army. While we cannot be on the front lines, we can still contribute to our shared victory,” the cadets commented.

In addition, the young men and women assist with humanitarian aid—packing and unloading supplies to be sent to the front. Among the most urgently needed items are long-shelf-life food, hygiene products, tactical gear, and trench candles.

The cadets also work with recyclable materials, particularly by sorting plastic bottles that are later sent for processing. The funds raised through this initiative are directed toward the production of modern prosthetics for military personnel.

The cadets firmly believe that joint participation in volunteer projects not only supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine but also unites the university community and fosters a sense of patriotism, responsibility, and mutual support among future officers.
