Commemorative Events at Dnipro Lyceum

MIA Lyceum

Students of the Hostishchev Lyceum remembered the victims of World War II and honored its heroes.

At the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev, an event was held to mark Remembrance and Victory Day over Nazism in World War II (1939–1945). Following the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, those present honored the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence.

Lyceum Director Kyrylo Nedria emphasized that remembering the past is the foundation for shaping the future. He noted that the tragedy of World War II has parallels with current events, as new aggressors attempt to destroy Ukrainian statehood and its people.

Participants recalled the victims of Nazi aggression and honored the heroes who secured victory 80 years ago. The lyceum students presented a creative program dedicated to Remembrance and Victory Day over Nazism. Such events foster patriotism and respect for the heroic past among young people.
