A meeting dedicated to Remembrance and Victory Day over Nazism in World War II (1939–1945) was held at the Dnipro House of Arts.
Cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) learned about key events of World War II, the significant contribution of the Ukrainian people to the victory over Nazism, and honored the memory of the fallen. They watched excerpts from documentary films about the renowned sniper Lyudmyla Pavlychenko and Crimean Tatar Righteous Among the Nations Saide Arifova, who saved 88 Jewish children during the war.
According to the organizers, such events hold great educational value. They not only contribute to honoring the memory of the fallen but also foster patriotic values and an understanding of the role of state defenders in today’s context. Future law enforcement officers felt pride in their involvement in preserving peace, security, and national dignity.
