Students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in a training session conducted by the Department of Tactical and Special Training.
The event took place at the DSUIA Center for First Aid and Tactical Medicine. Head of the department, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, and Police Major Vadym Fursa introduced students to the basics of providing first aid to victims, depending on the nature of their injuries.
During the session, students studied the MARCH protocol, learned the technique of using hemostatic tourniquets, and practiced the correct application of tourniquets to limbs. Various types of injuries were examined, along with algorithms for wound packing in cases of critical bleeding.
