Patrol Police Officers Complete Long-Term Advanced Training at DSUIA

NEWS

Twenty-one students from the Department of Qualification Improvement and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning successfully completed their training and received the appropriate certificates.

The group included representatives from patrol police units of the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Poltava regions. Over the course of 12 days of intensive training, they studied the specifics of service at checkpoints, patrolling, the basics of explosive engineering, and the procedures for providing pre-medical aid. Particular attention was paid to firearms, tactical and psychological training, as well as maintaining public safety under martial law conditions.

Upon completion of the course, the officers passed a comprehensive final exam that included both theoretical questions and practical tasks.

The graduates were personally greeted by Ihor Magdalyna, the First Vice-Rector of DSUIA. He emphasized the importance of continuous professional growth and the enhancement of knowledge and skills—especially under current conditions—and presented the graduates with their certificates.

The police officers return to duty equipped with new knowledge, ready to ensure the safety of citizens and uphold public order in their respective regions even more effectively.
