The event aimed to support mental health, foster female identity, and unlock inner resources.
One of the key practices was creating individual beeswax candles—a symbol of warmth, inner light, and feminine energy. Each cadet infused her creation with personal meaning, charging it with positive thoughts and dreams for the future.
The next stage involved visual self-discovery: cadets identified their best qualities and strengths, contributing to the development of healthy self-esteem. Special attention was given to the “Garden of the Soul” art practice, during which participants created symbolic drawings of their inner world. This exercise helped them better understand their emotions, values, and sense of self.
The final stage was working with foil, where each cadet crafted a figurine or symbol representing her unique talent. This practice allowed them to focus on personal capabilities and strengthen psycho-emotional resilience.
Psychologist Alina Horodnychenko noted that such events promote the formation of a well-rounded personality, enhance emotional culture, and foster team cohesion. Art therapy helps cadets unlock their potential, maintain inner balance, and develop psychological resilience.
Head of the Psychological Support Department at DSUIA, Serhii Vyshnevskyi, emphasized that interactive practices not only yield results but also elevate the professional level of psychologists, facilitating effective work with cadets.
