Science Day Event at DSUIA

The Department of Scientific Activity Organization at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) held a meeting dedicated to Science Day.

The event was attended by DSUIA higher education students and students of the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev.

On May 16, Ukraine celebrates Science Day, and Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs joined in commemorating this occasion. On May 12, at the initiative of the Department of Scientific Activity Organization, a meeting was held for members of the Scientific Society of Higher Education Students and lyceum students on the topic “Youth Science in the World, Ukraine, and DSUIA: Challenges and Prospects.”

Cadet of the DR-246 study group and secretary of the Scientific Society of Higher Education Students, Lola Nemonova, prepared a presentation and report, discussing the development of global youth science, the research activities of Ukrainian youth, and current challenges faced by young researchers. Attendees also watched an informative video about Ukrainian scientists whose inventions changed the world.

Head of the Scientific Work Department of the Student-Cadet Council, cadet of the DR-343 study group Yuliia Tolmachova, presented the scientific and research activities of DSUIA students, accompanying her talk with an engaging video.

At the end of the meeting, Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Scientific Activity Organization, Olena Shkurko, invited participants to take part in a quiz. Through it, students and lyceum attendees demonstrated knowledge across various scientific fields, showcased their erudition, and uplifted their spirits. Science, as a vital sphere of societal interaction and a key component of the educational process, remains a fascinating and engaging part of life.
