Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs Joins Blood Donation Charity Initiative

NEWS

On May 15, a date symbolically significant for Ukrainians as Vyshyvanka Day, representatives of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, led by the university’s rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morgunov, took part in a charitable blood donation campaign.

The event was organized by the team of the Municipal Enterprise “Regional Medical Center for Family Health” of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.

The need for donors remains consistently high — the donated blood will help provide emergency medical assistance to those affected by the war: children, military personnel, and civilians.

Rector Oleksandr Morgunov emphasized that blood donation is not only an expression of civic responsibility but also a sincere act of support for those who need it most today.

On this day, children staying at the medical facility received handmade guardian angel charms — created by university students as a symbol of care, protection, and belief in Ukraine’s victory.
