NEWS

Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs hosted a lecture on the importance and use of military communications in commanding army units.

The session was held for third-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine. It was delivered by Oleg Lohvynenko, a judicial expert from the Military Research Laboratory of the Dnipropetrovsk Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Examinations and a retired lieutenant colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He spoke about the organization of communications within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service, law enforcement agencies, and intelligence services. The cadets learned about the evolution of communication tools, their types, and their application in various institutions.

Particular attention was paid to the correct construction of communication systems within and between units, which ensures effective and uninterrupted communication.

Such lectures are essential as they help cadets understand the crucial role of communication in unit management, enhance their professional competence, and prepare them for work in complex operational environments. The training also promotes the development of rapid response and coordination skills, which are critical for future law enforcement officers.
