The team “Strategists” claimed victory in the criminal law quiz titled “Best Young Lawyer.”
The Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty for Training Specialists in Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine organized a subject-based quiz in “Criminal Law” under the theme “Best Young Lawyer.” The event brought together 20 second-year higher education cadets (teams KP-“Bogatyrs,” PD-“Jokers,” SR-“Strategists”) and third-year cadets (DR-“Subjects”).
The event was also attended by a practitioner — Captain of Police Veronika Masharova, Deputy Head of the Inquiry Sector of Police Department No. 1 of the Pokrovsk District Police Office, Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk Region.
The quiz consisted of four stages:
• In the first round, teams posed questions to each other.
• The second round involved solving puzzles prepared in advance by the participants.
• The third round was a blitz competition among team captains.
• In the fourth and final round, participants had to correctly qualify various real-life legal scenarios.
The winning team was the second-year cadet group “Strategists” from the Faculty for Training Specialists in Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine, consisting of: Nikita Rukhlo, Anastasiia Kovalova, Andrii Nechytailo, Yulia Shevchenko, and Daniil Morozov.
The event sparked great interest among the cadets, contributing to the enhancement of their criminal law knowledge, the development of analytical thinking, and the stimulation of cognitive activity.
