Every year, on the third Saturday of May, Ukraine celebrates Science Day. In the Dnipro Regional State Administration, solemn events were held to honor the contributions of academic and teaching staff from the city and region to the development of science.
The event was opened by Olga Lozova, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipro Regional State Administration. She congratulated the researchers, emphasizing that their work advances science, fosters innovation, and strengthens the state amid contemporary challenges. She highlighted the importance of research in the fields of law, security, and education for building a just society.
Following her remarks, the attendees received certificates and awards. Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) was represented by distinguished scholars: Vasyl Berezniak, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Senior Researcher, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Police Lieutenant Colonel; Valeriy Daragan, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities, Police Major; Maksym Pochtovyi, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Senior Researcher, Deputy Director for Educational Activities at the Research and Education Institute of Law and Innovative Education; Krystyna Rezvovych, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines; Andriy Sobakar, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, Police Lieutenant Colonel.
Such events not only honor the contributions of researchers but also motivate them to pursue new studies aimed at developing the legal system, ensuring security, and supporting Ukraine’s national interests.
