The event brought together cadets, students, pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum named after Oleksandr Hostishchev, and trainees from the Police Academy Training Center.
The championship was organized by the Department of Special Physical Training at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, followed by a moment of silence in memory of the fallen defenders.
Six teams participated in the competition: the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine (NPU), the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Units of the NPU, the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Preventive Units of the NPU, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education, the Primary Professional Training Center “Police Academy”, and the Dnipro Security and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after Oleksandr Hostishchev.
In the final match, the team from the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Preventive Units of the NPU faced the team from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Units of the NPU, winning gold and silver medals respectively. The bronze went to the team from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU, who defeated the team from the Hostishchev Lyceum.
All teams received commemorative certificates. The award for best goalkeeper went to lyceum student Denys Kes, and the top scorer of the tournament was cadet Bohdan Shvets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU.
