The training, held from May 12 to 16, took place within the framework of a joint project by the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine.
Participants included representatives of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs: Professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Training Mykola Yefimov, Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure Olena Soldatenko, and cadets from the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine—Violetta Vazhenkova, Artem Voronin, Anastasiia Bovt, and Oleh Nahornyi.
During the training, participants studied the specific aspects of investigating crimes related to human trafficking. Particular attention was given to topics such as conducting searches, interviews, and inspections of computer equipment.
To reinforce the theoretical knowledge, cadets engaged in simulated practical exercises, while academic staff evaluated their performance as part of investigative teams at designated locations. A unique feature of the Spring School was the regular inclusion of “warm-up sessions”—physical activities designed to engage both attention and critical thinking.
Upon completion of the training, participants received corresponding certificates.
