Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) is actively developing a program of adaptive training aimed at the physical and psychological recovery of military veterans.
The sessions take place in the university’s modern gym and are tailored to the individual needs of each participant. Under the guidance of professional trainers from DSUIA’s Department of Special Physical Training, veterans engage in cardio exercises, strength training to build muscle, and activities to improve coordination and mobility.
According to the department’s specialists, the program not only promotes physical recovery but also fosters a friendly atmosphere, positively impacting the participants’ mental and emotional well-being.
Veterans emphasize the program’s importance for their reintegration into civilian life, noting significant improvements in physical health and emotional well-being.
The initiative was carried out as part of the “Friendly Support” project by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
