Students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education took part in an elective tactical medicine training session.
The event was held at the DSUIA Center for Pre-Medical Aid and Tactical Medicine. The training was delivered by Police Lieutenant Colonel Oksana Myslyva, PhD in Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training.
The session was organized in accordance with the standards of the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). Participants learned about the phases of care, including Care Under Fire (CUF) and Tactical Field Care (TFC).
Special attention was given to practicing the MARCH protocol and understanding the differences between tactical medicine and pre-medical aid provided in civilian conditions.
Attendees were also introduced to the contents of modern medical equipment kits, their alignment with the MARCH protocol stages, and key applications during primary and secondary assessment of a wounded individual.
