The training session was conducted using educational and simulation equipmen. A seminar-training was held for third-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine, titled: “Fundamentals of Providing Pre-Medical Aid by Police Officers to Victims of Artillery Shelling (Missile Strikes).”

The session utilized training and simulation equipment, including mannequins with models of gunshot wounds to the upper and lower limbs, lacerations in the groin area, and traumatic amputations.
The training was led by Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, and Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel Oksana Myslyva.
With the help of simulated bleeding effects using artificial blood, cadets were able to practice police actions in emergency situations in conditions as close to real-life as possible.
Participants worked through the procedures for assisting victims: application of tourniquets (including the knot-type), performing wound packing, applying bandages and aseptic dressings.
Special attention was given to the accuracy and timeliness of actions in critical situations, in accordance with modern tactical medicine protocols.
