Future legal professionals from the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs are deepening their knowledge in the field of criminal law and procedure: the university’s students took part in a large-scale national educational event that brought together active and motivated participants from all over the country.
Third-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine at DSUIA — Mariia Khlivna, Daryna Velmozhna, Viktoriia Horokhovska, and Lola Nemonova — as well as fourth-year adjunct of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Police Major Yuliia Tkach, participated in the XV All-Ukrainian School of Criminal Law and Procedure, held in Kyiv.
Participants attended a series of lectures and panel discussions on current topics such as: “The Hidden Pitfalls of Gambling Legalization,” “International Cooperation Between Law Enforcement Agencies: How Ukraine Investigates Crimes Together With Foreign Partners,” and the specifics of temporary property seizure and conducting forensic examinations.
Speakers at the event included Dmytro Chepizhak, Deputy Head of the Detective Department of the Territorial Office of the Bureau of Economic Security in Kyiv region, as well as practicing lawyers and heads of legal firms.
The educational event gathered over 150 participants, including higher education students, court secretaries, legal advisers, attorneys, notaries, and law enforcement officers, all striving for professional development and deeper expertise in the fields of criminal law and procedure.
