The event was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the Faculty’s Academic Council, Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Operative and Investigative Activities, Police Major Valerii Darahan.
The key item on the agenda was the election of the Head of the Faculty’s Academic Council.
Following a report by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Police Lieutenant Colonel Yurii Herasymchuk, regarding the candidate for this responsible position, the council members conducted a secret ballot.
As a result of the vote, the Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Police Major Serhii Balaban was elected as the Head of the Faculty’s Academic Council.
In addition, during the meeting, the Academic Council reviewed the results of the rector’s performance control of second- and third-year cadets in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The council also summarized the outcomes of international business trips of faculty department instructors and analyzed the potential application of the acquired knowledge and skills in the educational process.
