NEWS

These events play a vital role in fostering patriotic and aesthetic education among future law enforcement officers, while also deepening their understanding of the cultural heritage of their native region.

Recently, cadets from the Faculty for the Training of Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine visited the Dnipro House of Arts. There, they explored the exhibition halls featuring works by both renowned Ukrainian artists and talented emerging creators. The cadets had the opportunity to discover paintings, graphics, and decorative-applied art pieces, with particular attention drawn to those works that reflect themes of Ukrainian history, heroism, peace, and spirituality.

One of the highlights of the visit was the national watercolor exhibition titled “Spring Diversity”. The display included over a hundred diverse artworks—landscapes, portraits, still lifes, and abstract compositions—created by 42 artists from different regions of Ukraine. According to the cadets, the visit provided an emotional reset: although the paintings varied in mood, they were all united by the freshness of spring colors.

Another discovery for the cadets was the exhibition “Spring Rhapsody” by Dnipro artist Oleksandra Malyshko. This collection featured oil-on-canvas paintings, all crafted in the artist’s unique style—linear impressionism, a technique that fuses elements of both impressionism and linear art.

To conclude their cultural exploration, the cadets visited the Dnipro City History Museum, where they familiarized themselves with exhibits showcasing the key stages in the development of the city—from ancient times to the present day. Special attention was given to exhibits highlighting the Cossack era, the industrial evolution of Katerynoslav-Dnipropetrovsk, and the contributions of prominent individuals to the city’s growth..

The future police officers were particularly intrigued by antique photographs, documents, household items, and military gear. Museum guides shared insights into significant historical events related to Dnipro and explained how these events influenced the formation of modern Ukraine.
