DSUIA Participated in the Career Festival: A Platform for Professional Exchange and Collaboration

NEWS

The festival was held over four days at the National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” and attracted more than 100,000 visitors.

The event brought together leading Ukrainian companies, educational institutions, entrepreneurs, and career consultants, creating a vibrant platform for professional exchange and cooperation.

Among the distinguished participants were the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Inna Yashchuk, and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Major Kateryna Pavlichenko.

DSUIA was represented by Vadym Kolomiiets, a lecturer from the Department of Operative and Investigative Activity and Police Captain, along with cadets from the Faculty for Training Specialists in Pre-Trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine.

The cadets demonstrated a high level of professional readiness, representing the university with dignity on the national stage. They showcased a modern two-sided combat training system designed to prepare law enforcement officers for operational tasks. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the system’s structure and observe practical drills involving tactical elements.

Additionally, DSUIA representatives presented unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used by National Police units in operational missions and demonstrated simulators for virtual flight training.

The cadets actively engaged with representatives from the National Academy of Internal Affairs, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service Academy.

DSUIA delegates also communicated with servicemen of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade and the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade, as well as military veterans and former National Police officers, exchanging experiences and strengthening professional ties.

Festival attendees were able to learn more about DSUIA’s educational programs, including opportunities for earning a first or second higher education degree, and the career prospects available upon graduation.

As participants of the large-scale event noted, the Career Festival was not only informative but also inspiring — encouraging young people to choose a profession, pursue education, serve, and grow within the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
