New Meeting of the “Titan Chefs” Project Participants at DSUIA

NEWS

The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues to unite military veterans through social initiatives within the framework of the “Titan Chefs” project. The event was attended by First Vice-Rector of DSUIA Ihor Mahdalina.

This time, veterans arrived at DSUIA together with their wives and children.

Under the guidance of experienced chefs, veterans and their family members learned to cook a variety of dishes, including pan-fried pork cutlets with Polish-style minced meat, puff pastry pies with mushrooms, mushrooms in sour cream sauce, homemade noodles with chicken and mushrooms, and a newly introduced signature dish — potato dumplings (knedliky).

Each participant took part in the process — from choosing ingredients to preparing the final dish.

The meeting not only helped participants develop culinary skills but also fostered friendly communication, mutual support, and psychological recovery.

Among those who joined the cooking was Hero of Ukraine Andrii Shevchenko — an air defense fighter and later a serviceman of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians.

The “Titan Chefs” initiative helps veterans adapt to civilian life through creativity and teamwork.

First Vice-Rector Ihor Mahdalina met with the participants, emphasized the importance of acquiring new skills, and presented memorable gifts.

The project is being implemented at the initiative and with the support of the university’s leadership, and within the framework of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ project “Friendly Support”, launched by the Department of Education, Science and Sports.
