Community police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv regions have begun a specialization program at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. The officers were welcomed by First Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Ihor Magdalyna.
A total of 25 law enforcement officers will undergo training at the Department of Qualification Enhancement and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning.
Over the course of four weeks, the participants will study a range of topics including constitutionalism, human rights, stress resilience, and effective communication. The program also includes anti-corruption legislation, firearms training, and tactical exercises. Particular attention will be paid to the specifics of the community police officer’s role.
During the briefing, First Vice-Rector Ihor Magdalyna emphasized the importance of adhering to safety protocols and appropriate conduct both on university grounds and throughout the training period. He also highlighted that this specialization program presents an important opportunity to significantly enhance professional knowledge and skills—especially in the context of martial law.
