The session was conducted by the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure in collaboration with the Convoy Service Unit of the Preventive Activities Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The event targeted 2nd-year cadets of the Institute of Training Specialists for Preventive Activities Units of the National Police of Ukraine, focusing on the discipline “Organization of Convoy Unit Activities.” Experts included Captain of Police Yevhen Kutin, Commander of Company No. 1, Convoy Battalion No. 1, and his deputy, Major of Police Viacheslav Berendieiev.

During the session, cadets demonstrated acquired knowledge and practical skills, particularly in techniques for escorting detained and remanded individuals. An instructional briefing highlighted their understanding of legal grounds for convoy operations. Cadets practiced preparation stages, including drafting convoy assignments, selecting vehicles, planning routes, and ensuring safety during transport.

Special emphasis was placed on convoy operations in courts and during investigative actions, particularly involving women. Actions to prevent escapes or self-harm by detainees were also practiced, utilizing a service vehicle and the “Courtroom” training ground.

Such practical sessions equip cadets with essential professional skills, enabling them to independently and effectively organize convoy operations and respond promptly to challenges during service duties.
