“Veteran, Find Your Path”: DSUIA Presented Adaptation and Educational Opportunities

NEWS

Representatives of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the large-scale veteran forum “Veteran, Find Your Path,” held in Dnipro at the initiative of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.

The event brought together military veterans, representatives of higher education institutions, employers, medical institutions, and public organizations.

The forum was officially opened by the First Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Yurii Yandulskyi, and Deputy Head Nadiia Zadorozhnia.

Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs showcased its programs aimed at supporting, rehabilitating, and socially reintegrating military veterans. Assistant to the Rector, Volodymyr Kovbasa, informed attendees about DSUIA’s veteran-oriented initiatives. Representatives of the career guidance department, driving training unit, psychological support service, and the department of special physical training also took part, presenting the university’s educational opportunities for veterans — including the operation of DSUIA’s barrier-free driving school and the development of adaptive sports.

The forum served as a platform for effective dialogue between the public, government institutions, and veterans. Participants had the opportunity to explore practical options for employment, education, health recovery, and reintegration into active civilian life after military service.

“Veteran, Find Your Path” clearly demonstrated that synergy between the state, educational institutions, and society can create real conditions for the dignified reintegration of Ukraine’s defenders into peaceful life.
