First Vice-Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) Ihor Magdalina met with the participants.

Twenty-nine police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Poltava Oblasts began long-term professional development at the Unit for Professional Development and Specialization of DSUIA’s Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning.

Over 12 days, officers will study constitutional law fundamentals, human rights and freedoms, and principles of community-oriented policing. Special focus will be on processing administrative materials for traffic rule violations, drafting official documents, and ensuring public safety and order during mass events based on the Scandinavian model.

Ihor Magdalina conducted a briefing for participants before the training, emphasizing compliance with the rules of the higher education institution with specific training conditions, safety requirements, and response to air raid alerts. He also highlighted the importance of systematic professional development and continuous knowledge updates to address current challenges.
