Representatives of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in a large-scale charitable blood donation initiative — donating blood and plasma for the needs of the military, injured civilians, and children with cancer.
The event took place at the Regional Blood Transfusion Station (Blood Bank) and the Biopharma Plasma Center. The initiative was joined by First Vice-Rector Ihor Magdalina and Rector’s Assistant Volodymyr Kovbasa, as well as the administration of institutes and faculties, university students, and cadets.
Participants of the initiative shared that blood donation is not just an act of civic responsibility but a real opportunity to save lives. Such actions help develop a culture of voluntary blood donation among youth and are an important step in fostering social responsibility in future professionals.
University representatives received a certificate of appreciation from the Regional Blood Transfusion Station and an award from Biopharma Plasma as the most active and responsible educational institution that consistently provides donor support.
Every drop of blood is a chance for recovery for those in need. Once again, DSUIA representatives have demonstrated their compassion and readiness to help.
