DSUIA Cadet Took Part in the “Students for Ukraine” Project

NEWS

The youth initiative is implemented by the Ukrainian Student League in partnership with the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service.

Mariia Khlivna, a student of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine, took part in a joint working session involving representatives of student self-government bodies and state authorities. The meeting was held at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.

The project participants worked on analyzing key regional issues, generating solutions, and discussing further systemic cooperation between higher education institutions, local self-government bodies, and young people. In addition to Dnipro, similar sessions took place in five other Ukrainian cities — Mykolaiv, Lviv, Rivne, Sumy, and Chernivtsi.

According to Mariia Khlivna, one of today’s key challenges is the insufficient involvement of student youth in regional development processes. That is why the “Students for Ukraine” project is an extremely important initiative, as it provides young people with real tools to influence decision-making processes. Such events foster an active civic position among the student community, and the ideas proposed during the sessions may serve as a foundation for real and effective changes in society.
