At the stadium of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, traditional friendly matches took place between the teams of officers and cadets.
Three cadet teams played against the team of DSUIA officer representatives: the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Training Specialists for Preventive Units of the National Police of Ukraine.
The competition was held in a friendly atmosphere but with considerable sporting enthusiasm. Each team demonstrated a high level of training, coordinated gameplay, agility, speed, and excellent teamwork.
The final standings were as follows:
1st – DSUIA Officers;
2nd – Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police;
3rd – Educational and Scientific Institute of Training Specialists for Preventive Units of the National Police;
4th – Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police.
Such sporting initiatives are not new for the university. Friendly matches play an important role in team building and provide a platform for more informal communication between officers and cadets. Additionally, regular participation in sports events improves the physical fitness, endurance, and psychological resilience of future police officers.
