NEWS

The meetings were organized as part of ongoing cooperation with the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, aimed at strengthening the practical component of the educational process.

To raise awareness about the work of the Educational Safety Service (ESS) units, cadets from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Training Specialists for Preventive Units of DSUIA visited the Kamianske District Police Department. The students were accompanied by senior lecturer of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, Senior Police Lieutenant Khrystyna Derevianko.

The cadets received a safety briefing and reviewed key legal regulations, after which they were assigned to 16 educational institutions across the city. The cadets were introduced to the main activities of the ESS by Head of the Educational Safety Service in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Lieutenant Colonel Olena Tkachova, and Deputy Head of the ESS in Kamianske Police Department, Police Major Roman Lisnyi.

As part of the collaboration, the future law enforcement officers took part in several educational events. They demonstrated the work of a mobile forensic laboratory, explained key road safety rules and procedures in case of detecting explosive devices, and conducted cyber safety lessons.

Ahead of the summer holidays, children were reminded how to stay safe at home and while on vacation. Preventive talks on harmful habits among youth were also held.

Together with ESS instructors, the cadets ensured the safety of the educational environment during the graduation ceremonies for 11th-grade students. This experience helped cadets better understand their future service duties during public events and contributed to building cooperation with police units and the community—an essential part of professional training.
