A series of works by Vasyl Tevyashov is on display in the small hall of the Dnipropetrovsk branch of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Most of the works viewed by cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine are dedicated to the current wartime reality. Among them are portraits of Ukrainian defenders, including servicewomen, paramedic Tayra, and Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Matsievskyi.
There are also abstract canvases addressing themes of spirituality, cultural heritage, and the inner search of a person in today’s world.
According to the cadets, Vasyl Tevyashov’s works impress with their expressive palette, multilayered meanings, and high level of craftsmanship. The cadets experienced aesthetic satisfaction from viewing the exhibition and expressed sincere interest in art as an important element in shaping the worldview of a future law enforcement officer.
