Students of the DSUIA “Police Academy” Joined the Weaving of Camouflage Nets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

NEWS

Students of the Primary Vocational Training Center “Police Academy” of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs are actively cooperating with local volunteers to support the military.

The volunteer event took place at the “Sokil” Humanitarian Headquarters in Dnipro. The “Police Academy” students learned the technique of making camouflage nets, which are critically important for the safety of Ukrainian defenders on the front lines.

These nets provide effective concealment for equipment, positions, and personnel from enemy reconnaissance, including UAVs and satellite surveillance. Made from durable materials in natural colors, the nets help forces remain undetected, reducing the risk of being spotted by the enemy. Under wartime conditions, camouflage nets save lives by covering trenches, command posts, and supply depots, while also contributing to the successful execution of combat missions.

Such initiatives demonstrate the responsibility, patriotism, and unity of law enforcement representatives, emphasizing the importance of civic engagement in today’s reality.
