At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine were briefed prior to their internship.
The event was led by DSUIA First Vice-Rector Ihor Magdalina, with participation from senior faculty and institute staff responsible for organizing and overseeing the internship. Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Head of the Investigation Department, Police Colonel Inna Vlasova, also attended.
Cadets were informed about the specifics of their internship in National Police units, with particular emphasis on upholding legality, service discipline, and safety while performing duties.
They received guidance on maintaining an internship log, principles of knowledge assessment, reporting procedures, and interaction with on-site mentors.
Anti-Corruption Officer Ruslan Lupyr stressed the importance of strict adherence to the Law of Ukraine “On Corruption Prevention” and fostering a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption among cadets.
Emphasis was also placed on maintaining mental well-being during the internship, adhering to service discipline, police ethical conduct rules, personal safety measures, and unconditional compliance with orders from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the DSUIA Rector.
