Lyceum students were introduced to a variant of adaptive volleyball.
As part of the summer camp at the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev, an unusual sports event dedicated to All-Ukrainian Olympic Day took place. Teachers and students played adaptive volleyball using towels.
In this team game, players catch and toss the ball with a towel held by two participants, creating a “catapult.” The game fosters coordination, trust, and teamwork. The event was initiated by Deputy Director for Educational and Methodological Work Svitlana MOZGOVA and psychologist Natalia SHYNKARENKO, who aimed to promote an active lifestyle. The activity was held in a friendly atmosphere filled with humor and mutual support.
Such initiatives contribute to physical development, strengthen team spirit, and set a positive example for youth, showcasing a creative approach to sports.
