Senior Lecturer of DSUIA Mykola Repan Took Part in the All-Ukrainian Economic and Legal Forum

The event took place at the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology.

The theme of the forum was “Counteraction and Prevention of Domestic Violence in Ukraine: Economic and Legal Aspects.”

The goal of the event was to deepen the analysis of economic and legal mechanisms for combating domestic violence, assess the effectiveness of existing legislation and financial support programs for victims, and develop practical recommendations for improving interagency cooperation.

The forum was opened by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Zaichuk; Acting Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology”, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Olha Sverdlikovska, and others. Representatives of leading scientific and educational institutions of Ukraine also participated in the forum.

Mykola Repan, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, in his presentation, addressed the issue of applying international standards for combating domestic violence in the training of law enforcement officers at DSUIA.

He spoke about interactive technologies that are being continuously implemented in the educational process at DSUIA and are used for the training of cadets, as well as for the advanced training and specialization of practitioners. He presented the educational platforms: “Prevention and Counteraction of Domestic Violence,” “Child-Friendly Crisis Room,” and “Courtroom Simulation Hall.”

During the meeting, issues of combating domestic violence were discussed, along with an analysis of changes in the legislation related to domestic violence prevention in Ukraine.
