The event took place in Solone, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Ten military veterans, who train at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) under the guidance of Ukraine’s Table Tennis Champion Vasyl Koval, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training Marharyta Chobotko, and lecturer Oleksandr Nudel, participated in the tournament.
The competition was organized by the Social Protection Department of Solone Town Council in collaboration with DSUIA’s Department of Special Physical Training.
The matches were intense, with each participant showcasing athletic skill in fierce contests.
Arhur Andrusyk from the Solone community won “gold,” while DSUIA team members Viktor Tykholaz and Mykola Nebrat secured “silver” and “bronze,” respectively.
All participants received commemorative awards and gifts.
The athletes are now preparing for the Veterans’ Games, which will be held in Poltava.
The event was part of All-Ukrainian Olympic Day.
