29 law enforcement officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions will undergo a 12-day training program at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The training is conducted by the Department for Advanced Training and Specialization at DSUIA.
Patrol officers will study the basics of constitutional law, the guarantees of human rights and freedoms, as well as principles of community-oriented policing and partnership with the public.
Particular attention will be paid to the preparation of administrative documents for traffic violations, the correct drafting of official reports, and the provision of public safety and order during mass events in accordance with the Scandinavian model.
The participants were addressed by the First Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Ihor Magdalina. He conducted a briefing for the police officers and emphasized the crucial role of continuous professional development for law enforcement personnel and the necessity of constantly updating knowledge in response to current challenges.
Special attention was also given to safety requirements, particularly the mandatory response to air raid alerts and adherence to safety rules while staying on the premises of a higher education institution with specific learning conditions.
