To mark the National Police Day of Ukraine, Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs held a practical shooting championship titled “Operational Frontier.” The event was organized by the Department of Firearms Training and involved cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine.
The competition was conducted using modern multimedia technology. Two teams of five cadets each took part in the tournament. Participants were required to demonstrate their shooting accuracy using pistols and assault rifles equipped with laser sensors, hitting virtual targets displayed on an interactive screen.
Based on the results, the team SR-262-24-1 claimed first place, while the team KP-262-24-1 secured second.
In the individual ranking, the results were as follows:
1st place – Yehor Khlystun;
2nd place – Yehor Lobodiuk;
3rd place – Vyacheslav Chornyi.
Such competitions contribute to the development of professional firearm handling skills, enhance the combat readiness of future police officers, and cultivate discipline, focus, and a responsible attitude toward fulfilling their official duties.
