Patrol Police Officers Complete Advanced Training at DSUIA

Twenty-nine trainees of the Department for Qualification Improvement and Specialization at the Institute of Postgraduate and Distance Learning received certificates upon successful completion of their training program at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The participants represented Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, and Donetsk regions. Over the course of 12 days, the officers studied patrol tactics, procedures at checkpoints, the basics of explosive ordnance disposal, and first aid. They also underwent firearms, tactical, and psychological training, with a special focus on ensuring public safety and order under martial law.

Particular attention was given to constitutional law, the protection of human rights and freedoms, and principles of community-oriented policing.

In addition, the course covered the preparation of administrative documents for traffic violations, the proper documentation of official reports, and maintaining public safety during mass events in accordance with the Scandinavian model.

At the end of the program, the trainees passed a comprehensive final exam consisting of both theoretical and practical components.

First Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Ihor Magdalyna, congratulated the graduates on completing their training. He emphasized that in today’s challenging environment, law enforcement officers must continually develop their professional competencies, refine their practical skills, and remain ready to meet the demands of their service. He wished the officers continued success in their careers and personal growth and personally presented each graduate with their specialization certificate.

All participants successfully completed the program and received official certificates.
