Representatives of the university and the Dnipropetrovsk Directorate of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police of Ukraine took part in the event.
During the joint working meeting, the issue of interaction between higher education institutions with specific training conditions, which belong to the management sphere of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and interregional territorial divisions of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police of Ukraine was raised regarding the prevention of criminal offenses, administrative offenses related to corruption, and prevention of official abuse by permanent and variable staff of the higher education institutions.
The rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, informed the attendees about the start of the 2025 admission campaign, focusing separately on the quality of the selection of higher education applicants and their admission to Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. Attention was focused on the need to comply with the Rules of Ethical and Honest Behavior of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the DSUIA Anti-Corruption Program for 2023–2025 on the organization of entrance exams, elimination of informal relations with applicants or their close persons, members of the Admission Commission, and ensuring objective and transparent evaluation of results.
The event was joined by Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Directorate of the Department of Internal Security of the NPU, Police Lieutenant Colonel Andrii Tabunshchykov, and Senior Operative Officer for Particularly Important Cases of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Dnipropetrovsk Directorate of the Department of Internal Security of the NPU, Police Captain Oleksandr Yevstratenko.
According to Andrii Tabunshchykov, the main tasks of the interaction are the organization and timely implementation of a set of legal, organizational, and practical measures during the 2025 admission campaign, aimed at detecting, preventing, averting, and stopping the commission of offenses, as well as the timely identification and elimination of the causes and conditions that cause the risks of their commission and the need to conduct such joint activities.
Based on the results of the meeting, a decision was made to conduct joint activities aimed at identifying and preventing the risks of committing offenses related to corruption, as well as preventing official abuse, in particular during the 2025 admission campaign.
