After the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, the attendees honored the memory of the fallen defenders with a moment of silence.
Among those laying flowers at the Alley of Remembrance of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and fallen ATO soldiers was the Rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morgunov.
The Day of Ukrainian Statehood is celebrated annually on July 15. It affirms the unity of the Ukrainian people, their unwavering will for freedom and independence, as well as deep respect for the heroes who have fought and continue to fight for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
