The event took place under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Nadiia Zadorozhna. The rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, joined the meeting.
The event was attended by the acting Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Police Colonel Oleksandr Myrhorodskyi, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate, Police Colonel Yurii Merdenov, Advisor to the Patronage Service of the Regional Military Administration Bohdan Ilchenko, Assistant to the Head of the Main Directorate on Veteran Policy Issues Denys Skaleukh, Head of the Regional Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts Volodymyr Stepanov, and other representatives of institutions ready to provide jobs for veterans.
The Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, presented the veteran support programs operating at DSUIA.
Special attention was focused on the employment opportunities for military veterans provided by the higher education institution. The issues of educational initiatives, adaptive sports activities, and training at the barrier-free driving school based at DSUIA were also raised.
Oleksandr Morhunov emphasized that all specialized programs operating at DSUIA are aimed at comprehensive support for veterans, helping defenders integrate into civilian life. Video materials on the employment of military veterans at DSUIA were presented to the attention of all present.
The meeting participants discussed vacancies for veterans, qualification requirements, and outlined further steps for the implementation of projects to support defenders.
