An elective session was conducted by the Department of Firearms Training of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs for first-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine.
A class on the practical development of skills in handling firearms was led by Oleksandr Movchan — a former special forces serviceman and now a university employee.
Cadets became acquainted with the tactical and technical characteristics of an assault rifle and practiced the basic techniques of shooting.
Special attention was paid to safe handling of weapons, correct body positioning during shooting, aiming techniques, trigger control, and shooting from uncomfortable positions.
Thanks to Oleksandr Movchan’s professional experience and his individual approach, the session was held at a high methodological level.
Cadets acquired new knowledge and practical skills necessary for their professional training, which will contribute to their readiness to fulfill official duties.
