A meaningful meeting with veterans who work at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took place at the university. The event was attended by Serhii Vyshnevskyi, Head of the Psychological Support Department of DSUIA, and Volodymyr Kovbasa, Assistant to the Rector.
During the conversation, Serhii Vyshnevskyi emphasized the importance of professional psychological support to help military personnel adapt to civilian life. He noted that seeking timely help is a sign of strength, not weakness, as combat experiences require attention, processing, and professional guidance. All veterans and their family members can receive free psychological consultations at the university at any time. In addition, each veteran will have an individual meeting for a deeper discussion of their needs and condition.
Volodymyr Kovbasa highlighted that a strong veterans’ community is already forming at DSUIA, based on mutual support, respect, and solidarity. According to him, the university is creating conditions not only for work and development but also for recovery, participation in joint initiatives, and sports and cultural events that help veterans return to a full life.
