Dnipro hosted the official award ceremony for the winners of the city-wide festival “Student Spring – 2025.” The event traditionally brings together active student youth and promotes the development of cultural and civic life within higher education institutions.
Since 2017, the festival has been held with the support of the city authorities, and during this time, a financial incentive system for talented youth has been implemented. For the third consecutive year, the majority of participants have voluntarily donated 75% of their prize funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, demonstrating a strong sense of civic responsibility.
This year, the Grand Prix of the festival was awarded to the team from the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. Members of the creative movement studio “eSTeD” — third-year cadet Yelyzaveta Burmystrova and second-year student Sofiia Silina — were the most active representatives of the creative team, whose efforts brought this honorable victory to the university.
The gifts received by the team will be directed toward the development of student self-government, support for creative initiatives, and implementation of cultural and educational projects at DSUIA. These resources will enable the university to create even more opportunities for student self-realization.
A special recognition — a Certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor — was awarded to the Head of the DSUIA Student-Cadet Council, Maksym Khadzhiiiskyi. His contribution to youth policy development, active community engagement, and participation as a jury member in the festival was acknowledged.
The awards were presented by Serhii Ludenskyi, Acting Director of the Department for Youth Policy and National-Patriotic Education of the Dnipro City Council. He expressed gratitude for the high level of participant preparation and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in shaping the leadership potential of Ukrainian youth.
