At the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, the training of 28 police officers has begun, who, after completing the course, will work in educational institutions.
Experienced scientific and pedagogical staff of the university’s departments are involved in the training. During the briefing, the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, met with the trainees and emphasized the importance of high-quality training of Educational Security Service officers, as their work is directly related to the protection of children and ensuring their safety.
The first class for the trainees, during which attention was focused on the introduction to the profession of ESS officer, was conducted by the Head of the Educational Security Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Police Lieutenant Colonel Olena Tkachova.
Over the course of 24 days, police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions will study theoretical material and perform practical tasks. Active Educational Security Service officers, psychologists, and specialists from the Department of Education will be involved in the classes.
