Training Camp: DSUIA First-Year Cadets Undergo Physical and Firearms Training

NEWS

First-year cadets of DSUIA improve their physical training and master weapon handling skills.

In view of wartime, specialists of the Department of Special Physical Training paid special attention to practical skills in overcoming obstacle courses. First-year cadets navigated a labyrinth, climbed over walls and windows, ran through trenches. Training sessions are primarily aimed at forming and improving special obstacle course skills, fostering confidence in police officers’ abilities, courage, and determination.

In addition, during the sessions, law enforcement officers develop and improve general and special physical qualities. The sessions were conducted on a special obstacle course at a training ground equipped with obstacles and targets.

Instructors of the Department of Firearms Training familiarized cadets with firearms, their tactical-technical characteristics, principles of mechanism operation, and safety rules during shooting.

Such sessions contribute to the formation of physical endurance, discipline, and professional skills necessary for future service in law enforcement agencies.
