The Department of Social-Humanitarian Work of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs organized for first-year cadets a visit to the university’s museum.
The event became an important step in acquainting young cadets with the traditions and history of the institution.
The head of the DSUIA Veterans’ Council, Leonid Kamyshov, told the first-year cadets about the establishment of the university, its evolution from a police school to a modern higher education institution. Cadets learned about key historical milestones, prominent personalities who shaped DSUIA, as well as the creative and sports achievements of cadets, students, and employees.
Such events contribute to the formation in young people of a sense of pride for their university, strengthen the connection with its traditions, and motivate professional growth. Meetings with veterans inspire first-year cadets to adhere to high standards of law enforcement service and continue the traditions of DSUIA.
