At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, the defense of the practical training of cadets of the 2nd and 3rd courses took place with the participation of representatives of the National Police of Ukraine. The event became an important stage in the formation of professional competencies of future law enforcement officers.
For the evaluation of knowledge obtained in the practical units of the NPU, the method of police quest was applied. At the defense of the practice of cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU, the acting head of the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Colonel of Police Oleh Kior, and the head of the department of the Strategic Investigations Directorate in Dnipropetrovsk Region of the DSR of the NPU, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Anton Makashov, were present. At the “Torture Chamber” location of the training ground, cadets demonstrated skills in recording data on war crimes against the civilian population. Also, at the investigative-criminalistic ground, the documentation of general criminal offenses and the drafting of procedural documents were practiced.
The defense of the practice of cadets of the 2nd course of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU took place with the participation of the head of the criminal investigation department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Colonel of Police Denys Mitali. Cadets performed tasks of the police quest, focusing on interaction with investigators within investigative-operative groups and responding to fraud in wartime conditions.
The defense of the practice of cadets of the NNI of Training Specialists for Preventive Activity Units of the NPU took place with the participation of the head of the department of administrative practice and planning of the Preventive Activity Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Vladyslav Harichev. Cadets solved situational tasks related to future official activities, with a special emphasis on situations that may arise in wartime conditions.
The practice became an important stage in the training of cadets, contributing to the development of analytical thinking, the ability to quickly respond to challenges, and teamwork.
