Education seekers of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU met with the judge of the Novokodatskyi District Court of Dnipro, Maksym Taus.
The regular meeting was organized by the Department of Criminal Procedure. Future investigators, during the classes conducted by Maksym Taus together with professors of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Major of Police Viktoriia Rohalska and Olena Soldatenko, learned about the main stages, forms, and significance of the pre-trial investigation stage.
The roles of participants in criminal proceedings, in particular the investigative judge, were discussed, as well as the concept and types of special procedures of criminal proceedings and their significance for optimizing the administration of justice.
During the class, Maksym Taus presented the monograph “Court Proceedings Based on Agreements in the Criminal Procedure of Ukraine,” prepared jointly with Viktoriia Rohalska. The event contributed to deepening the cadets’ knowledge, developing analytical thinking, and forming professional competencies for future service in the National Police of Ukraine.
